Haiti 2012
On January 19, Jackie Buttram, John Mitchell and I will be headed to St. Ard Haiti. Over the course of the week our team will see over 2,000 patients. Our first prescription is always a relationship with Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Then we treat their medical situation as best we can with the medicines you have provided. Often the conditions we are trying to treat would have been treated and cured much earlier if they had been in the US, so we are attempting to treat illnesses that are much more advanced than one would encounter here. The poverty though meets faith in God and it is wonderful to see their response to the Good News!
On behalf of our team, thank you for your support! Now we covet your prayers as we go in the Name of Jesus and the church to bring hope and healing.

Banned Questions About Jesus Starts Tuesday, January 10, 7:00 p.m. Why Did Jesus Have To Suffer So Much Before He Died? This is a question that a believing Christian could ponder. It probably is a question a non-believer certainly might have also. Another question may be: What happened to the missing years of Jesus’ life? Starting Tuesday, January 10 at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Dave (with Carolyn Burdsall as back-up) will discuss these types of intriguing questions from the book, Banned Questions About Jesus, by Christian Piatt. There is no need to purchase a book for this six week study. An order can be placed after the study begins for those who want a book. A sign-up sheet will be in the back of the sanctuary by January 1, 2012.
